Passionate about developing and testing websites, I have 10+ years of experience in chemistry and technology. For 3+ years, I have been buying and selling options in varying market conditions. The experience of trading futures is similar except funds are settled the same day.

Halfway through working 5 years in a polymer lab, I learned to code thinking switching careers would pay better. While adequate, it was lackluster. Further, the space eventually would be disrupted by generative AI. Upskilling in my own business made more sense to me than doing that in a Fortune 100 company with a promotion but limited compensation and a salary cap. Plus never being the CEO let alone make it to the C-suite. So I quit.

Now I collect premiums via credit spreads like an insurance company instead of maintaining sites for an insurance company that collects premiums. Over 88% of the time, nothing happens and contracts expire worthless thanks to time decay. Otherwise I take a small loss and continue profiting on the next trade. Easy money!
